HISTORY
In 1981 the state legislature approved the creation of the municipality of Los Cabos, and in 1982 adopted the shield that identifies the county, which is composed mainly of four angles. Orography

Hydrography
The water resources of the region is basically a continuous flow stream, known as San José, which follows a course from north to south and has plenty of water during the rainy season surge, and rain flow are only during the time, Santiago, Miraflores, Caduaño and Las Palmas.
